Primary Teacher - Year 4 / Key Stage 2

Reeson Education is inviting qualified Primary Teachers to register their interest in long-term opportunities across Croydon. Teachers with Year 4 or wider Key Stage 2 experience are especially encouraged to get in touch. These are general registration opportunities, and assignments will depend on school requirements and candidate availability.

Long-term class teaching offers the opportunity to support pupils' learning and development over time. Depending on the assignment, the teacher may plan and teach the primary curriculum, assess progress and work with support staff to meet the needs of the whole class.

The role may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that build pupils' knowledge and confidence.
• Using assessment to identify gaps and adapt teaching.
• Establishing clear routines and a positive classroom environment.
• Working with teaching assistants to support individuals and small groups.
• Communicating with colleagues and families about pupils' learning and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status and has recent primary teaching experience.
• Is confident teaching Year 4 or other Key Stage 2 year groups.
• Uses assessment and feedback to help pupils make progress.
• Can adapt teaching for pupils with different learning needs.
• Builds productive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
