Project Site Electrical Engineer
Your tasks
【Responsibilities】
- Provide engineering, technical & site support for all assigned projects
- Prepare and submit customers’ tender, conduct kick-off meeting with clients, and communicate with vendors and customers during project execution
- Liaise with vendors about quotations, specifications, and preliminary drawing at the same time maintain communication with manufacturers and subcontractors
- Pursue projects with the sales and technical team to meet project objectives
- Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team and clients, follow through projects, and offer technical and site support for the project cycle from the conceptual stage to the installation stage
- Liaise with clients and the factory to meet the factory acceptance test schedule
- Perform site coordination, site acceptance tests, and commissioning work
- Provide the necessary field inputs to engineering and factories for designing new products and improving existing products or systems
- Organise training for clients and handover to the Life Cycle department for warranty
- Keep up with technological advancements and emerging trends in the transformers industry
- Undertake other assignments and additional projects assigned by the Head of Department
Requirements
【Requirements & Preferences】
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in electrical engineering, specifically involving transformers within a construction, process, or plant engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of transformers, with familiarity in providing engineering support within an industrial environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel overseas for business purposes approximately 2–3 times per month to support business needs.
(Advantageous)
- Knowledge of switchgear is an added advantage.
