Sustainability Manager (M/W/D)

This function focuses on project quality tasks based on customer contracts and requirements, as well as on QM/CSR tasks at the group level. The job holder is responsible for creating the Project Quality Plan and the associated documents and procedures, for defining objectives and tracking their progress, as well as for ensuring compliance with internal processes and workflows and their application in accordance with the contractual requirements of the projects.

In addition to project-related activities, you will be involved in internal QM & CSR activities to manage, develop, and maintain the QHSE system and certifications, as well as to fulfill legal requirements. The role includes defining procedures, working on KPIs, reporting, supporting internal & external customer audits, and tracking legal requirements.

Area of responsibility:

Project Quality area:

• Project contact person for all topics regarding quality, environment, compliance & CSR
• Preparation of the Project Quality Plan and the associated QM documents according to customer specifications and the REEL QHSE / CSR system in coordination with project management and the BU/BL Quality Managers.
• Monitoring of project KPIs, ensuring milestones, and establishing internal and external reporting
• Ensuring and verifying the application of defined REEL processes, including in project phases as well as internal & external contractual QHSE / CSR requirements
• Management of non-conformities, 'lessons learned', improvement & preventive measures, as well as conducting post-project reviews after project completion
• Securing project continuity including business continuity plans and crisis scenarios
• Cooperation with French teams of the parent company on joint projects and customers

QHSE System & Sustainability Management area:

• Collaboration on and updating of the QM manual, processes and procedures, as well as the QHSE / CSR policy and annual objectives
• Definition, monitoring, and analysis of QHSE & CSR goals & KPIs, including risk & opportunity analyses
• Establishment and maintenance of business continuity & crisis management at the locations
• Regular reporting to BU/BL Quality Manager as well as QHSE Director, as well as support during internal and external customer audits
• Support for statutory CSR reporting, collection and evaluation of environmental data as well as the CO2 footprint, and close cooperation with the Group CSR Director
• Implementation of group guidelines and conducting training in the aforementioned areas

Requirements:

• Knowledge of relevant standards in quality, CSR, and environmental management
• Technical degree (e.g., industrial engineering) or demonstrable technical background
• General knowledge in project management
• Very good English skills in speaking & writing
• Strong intercultural competence, communication skills, and strong customer orientation
• Confident appearance and strong presentation skills internally and externally
• Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
