Waste Management Operative
Hourly Rate: £13.58 PAYE Location: Rotherham (depot is based in Hellaby) Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Join our client in their team as a Waste Management Operative and make a real difference in your community. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and contributing positively to the environment and local area.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collect waste and recycling from domestic and commercial properties.
- Empty litter bins and clear litter from streets.
- Report issues such as fly tipping and potholes to the relevant authorities.
- Assist with the delivery and maintenance of containers and ensure vehicle safety.
- Support street cleaning operations to maintain community cleanliness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong teamwork skills and reliability.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Experience working towards operational targets.
- No specific educational qualifications required; all necessary training will be provided.
