Warehouse Manager

Annual Salary: £26,300 Location: Crawley Job Type: Full-time (On-site) We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join a well-established business based in Crawley. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operation and ensuring the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. Day-to-day of the role: Manage daily warehouse operations, including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. Set up new units for shipping, including software downloads, sensor inputs, and equipment calibration. Pack and secure equipment using appropriate materials such as foam, crates, pallets, and straps. Inspect items for damage or defects before packing. Handle booking of delivery collections on various courier portals, ensuring accurate weights and measurements. Print shipping labels and ensure packages are accurately labelled with shipping information, handling instructions, and documentation. Maintain accurate records of packed items and shipping logs. Collaborate with logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines. Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks. Ensure accurate stock control and maintain inventory management systems. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free packing area. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse operations is preferred. Ability to lift and move heavy items safely. Basic understanding of shipping documentation and procedures is desirable. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
