Reed Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Dean Close Foundation for a Qualified Team Lead to join the team at Little Trees Nursery, Hucclecote on a temporary contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is ready to take on additional responsibility, support the Nursery Management Team, and help lead a team in delivering outstanding experiences for children and their families.
About the Role
As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, safeguarding and compliance are maintained throughout the setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading by example and modelling excellent Early Years practice.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of your room and wider nursery team.
- Ensuring high standards of care, learning and development for all children.
- Supporting planning, observations and assessments in line with the EYFS framework.
- Building strong partnerships with parents and carers.
- Supporting the development, motivation and mentoring of team members.
- Maintaining safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
- Contributing to a positive, nurturing and inclusive environment for children, families and colleagues.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and safeguarding requirements
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude
- A passion for delivering exceptional care and education
- The ability to support and inspire colleagues to achieve high standards
