Sports Lecturer

Reed FE are seeking a Lecturer in Sports for a temporary position in East London. This role involves teaching BTEC Sports from level 1 to 3. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in further education (FE) and be ready to engage students with dynamic teaching practices.

Day-to-day of the role of a Sports Lecturer: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students enrolled in levels 1 to 3 BTEC Sports. Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards. Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain classroom order and discipline. Utilise various educational technologies to enhance learning experiences. Attend staff meetings and contribute to the department’s objectives. Required Skills & Qualifications for the Sports Teacher role : Proven experience as a Lecturer in Sports or a similar role, specifically within further education. Strong understanding of BTEC Sports curriculum and assessment methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students. Organisational skills and the ability to handle a diverse workload.
