Our client, a Yorkshire council is seeking a Children’s Team Manager to join their CP Team

Responsibilities of this role:
- Provide leadership, supervision, and support to a team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality statutory services to children and families.
- Oversee complex child protection, child in need, and public law cases, ensuring timely decision-making and effective risk management.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding legislation, policies, procedures, and practice standards to promote positive outcomes for children.
- Chair and contribute to key meetings, including strategy discussions, legal planning meetings, placement planning meetings, and professional forums.
- Monitor performance, quality assure assessments and care plans, and drive continuous improvement across the service.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including health, education, police, and legal services, to safeguard children and support families.
- Manage resources effectively, promoting a culture of reflective practice, professional development, and service excellence.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
