My Tewkesbury-based client is seeking a friendly, motivated, and hardworking individual to join their welcoming team as a Service Administrator .

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm Lunch Break: 30 minutes
Role Overview
The Service Administrator will play a key role in supporting the aftersales function, ensuring customers receive excellent service and support. Responsibilities will include processing spare parts and consumables orders, coordinating service engineers, assisting with remote support requests, and maintaining accurate service records.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing orders for spare parts and consumables, including preparing quotations, sales orders, dispatch notes, invoices, and credit notes.
- Organising transport and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Maintaining and developing customer service records, including contact information for both existing and prospective customers.
- Preparing service-related invoices by obtaining service reports and ensuring all relevant information is accurate.
- Processing commercial invoices for overseas orders and arranging courier collections.
- Responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via email.
- Producing and maintaining service statistics, including warranty information, commissioning records, service timesheets, and other service-related data.
- Accurately filing service reports and associated documentation.
- Assisting with incoming telephone calls and taking messages where required.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous service administration experience within a small to medium-sized business.
- Experience or knowledge of an engineering environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
- Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Sage 200 would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Professional and confident manner when dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexible, positive, and proactive approach to work.
