Senior Threat Analyst

A Senior Threat Analyst is required to join a well-established public sector organisation within its Cyber Threat Intelligence function. This is a great opportunity for an experienced threat intelligence professional who combines strong cyber knowledge with leadership and executive-level communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Producing threat assessments, intelligence reports and executive briefings.
- Translating complex cyber threats into clear, actionable information for senior and non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitoring intelligence sources and assessing threat actors, TTPs and IOCs.
- Supporting incident response and working with security teams on appropriate mitigations.
- Leading and developing a small team while helping to shape and improve the Threat Intelligence function.
Expereince required:
- Strong Cyber Threat Intelligence / threat analysis experience.
- Experience briefing senior or executive stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of cyber threats and the threat intelligence lifecycle.
- Leadership, coaching or mentoring experience.
- Backgrounds within law enforcement, government, defence or wider intelligence could also be highly relevant where combined with strong cyber knowledge.
Desirable:
- Relevant industry qualifications and certifications (CPTIA, CRTIA, SANS FOR578).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as the MITRE ATT&CK matrix and/or Cyber Kill Chain.
- A working knowledge of the following product sets are ideal: - CrowdStrike - Microsoft Suite - Orpheus
