Senior Merchandiser

This is an opportunity to join a growing business in a highly visible Senior Merchandiser role, where you'll be at the heart of customer project delivery. Working across multiple teams, you'll play a key role in coordinating activity, managing critical paths, solving challenges, and ensuring projects progress smoothly from concept through to launch. While the title is Senior Merchandiser, this role offers something a little different. Rather than focusing heavily on range planning, trading performance or product selection, you'll spend much of your time driving project timelines, managing priorities, collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring customer commitments are delivered successfully. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the planning, coordination and relationship-building side of merchandising and wants to make a tangible impact across the wider business.

What You'll Be Doing Managing customer critical paths and helping ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed timescales and launch dates. Building strong relationships across multiple departments to keep projects moving smoothly. Monitoring progress, identifying risks and finding practical solutions to keep projects on track. Supporting production and workload planning by maintaining visibility of capacity and project demand. Leading regular project review meetings and coordinating actions with key stakeholders. Producing reports and analysis that support planning and decision-making. Supporting and mentoring a Merchandiser within the team. Contributing ideas and improvements that enhance processes and ways of working. Becoming a go-to person for business systems and helping colleagues get the most from them.

What We're Looking For You'll likely already have experience in a Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain or Project-focused environment and enjoy balancing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail. We'd love to hear from you if you have: Previous Merchandising experience. Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills. Experience working to critical paths, deadlines or project plans. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Experience working with ERP or other business systems. A proactive approach and a natural ability to solve problems. The confidence to work across different teams and influence outcomes.
