Senior FP&A Analyst

Reed Accountancy Oxford are thrilled to be partnering with a well established and market leaving client who are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their expanding FP&A function. This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant or FP&A Analyst with exposure supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, and experience owning the reporting and financial analysis function to join a team and drive forward automation and process improvement initiatives during a period of change.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Deliver FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Prepare, reconcile and review annual accounts, investigating variances where required.
• Partner with stakeholders to review financial results and support account sign-off.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insight into budget variances.
• Process society and editor payments in line with contractual agreements.
• Support month-end activities and trading account reviews.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Lead automation and reporting initiatives using Power BI, Power Query and Office Scripts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Studying towards a finance qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience within FP&A, management accounts or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and finance systems knowledge.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Query.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly accurate, proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
