The Opportunity:

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a diverse range of clients, build long-term relationships while delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. You will act as a trusted adviser, helping businesses across multiple sectors achieve their financial objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of statutory accounts for a broad range of clients
• Preparation of business tax computations, partnership returns, and personal tax returns
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and providing ongoing support and advice
• Managing and developing a portfolio of clients
• Identifying opportunities to add value and maximise client profitability
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
• Assisting with audit and assurance assignments (experience beneficial but not essential)

About You:

We're keen to speak with candidates who have a strong background within accountancy practice and enjoy working closely with clients.

You will ideally have:

• AAT qualified as a minimum, with ACA or ACCA qualification advantageous
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Good working knowledge of VAT, payroll, corporate tax and personal tax
• Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
• Audit experience would be welcomed, but is not essential
