Senior Accountant / Client Manager

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering accounts and tax services.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and personal and corporate tax returns.
• Lead client meetings, providing practical advice and support.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Review work completed by junior team members and support their development.
• Assist with client onboarding and practice development activities.
• Identify opportunities to add value and enhance the service provided to clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• AAT qualified (essential).
• ACCA qualified or studying towards ACCA (advantageous but not essential).
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
• Confidence in managing client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Ability to review work and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
