Salary: £110 (PAYE) -£127 (UMBRELLA)per day

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday with early finish on Fridays

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing one-to-one support to students with special needs. This role is crucial in helping students achieve their educational goals in a supportive and inclusive environment. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students' educational and social development.
  • Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
  • Monitor and report on students' progress.
  • Manage any behavioral or learning difficulties effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role, supporting students with special needs.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.
