Salary: £110 (PAYE) -£127 (UMBRELLA)per day
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday with early finish on Fridays
We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing one-to-one support to students with special needs. This role is crucial in helping students achieve their educational goals in a supportive and inclusive environment. Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students' educational and social development.
- Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
- Monitor and report on students' progress.
- Manage any behavioral or learning difficulties effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role, supporting students with special needs.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.
