SEND Plan Writers

I'm currently working with a Local Authority who are seeking a SEND Plan Writer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves amending EHCPs onto our new template and coordinating with the assigned case manager to track progress. This is a fully remote position, ideal for someone with experience in plan writing or backlog review. Day-to-day of the role: Amend EHCPs onto a new template as per organisational standards. Collaborate closely with assigned case managers to update on progress and ensure timely completion of tasks. Ensure all amendments meet the required quality and compliance standards. Utilise organisational tools and systems to maintain accurate records of all amendments and communications. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a plan writer or backlog review role is essential Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with case managers and other stakeholders. Experience with Synergy software is preferred but not essential.
