SEN Teaching Assistant | Rewarding Opportunity Available Now

Plymouth | £95-£100 per day | Full-Time

REED Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive specialist setting in Plymouth to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing both academic and emotional support, ensuring pupils feel safe, engaged, and confident in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assisting students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs.
• Working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging learning activities.
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviours.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
• Is patient, resilient, and adaptable.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is passionate about helping young people succeed.
