SEN Teaching Assistant | Be the Difference in a Child's School Day

Plymouth | £95-£100 per day | Full-Time REED Education are proud to be working with a welcoming specialist provision in Plymouth that is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning. You'll work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to build confidence, develop independence, and reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom. No two days are the same in this role. One moment you could be supporting a pupil with a literacy activity, the next you could be helping them regulate their emotions, celebrate a personal achievement, or navigate a social situation. Your responsibilities will include: Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support. Assisting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs. Supporting teachers with classroom activities and interventions. Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement. Building trusting relationships that help pupils thrive.
