Site Assistant Required - Immediate Start

Weald of Kent Area | Ongoing Supply Position | Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking an immediately available Site Assistant to join a friendly school in the Weald of Kent area on an ongoing supply basis while the school recruits for the permanent position.

This is a varied and hands-on role that would suit someone with practical maintenance experience and strong communication skills. Duties will include a range of site support tasks, from carrying out basic repairs such as fixing cupboard doors and securing radiators, to liaising with contractors, suppliers, and external companies over the phone.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a site assistant, caretaker, maintenance, or facilities role
• Practical DIY and maintenance skills
• The ability to work independently and use their initiative
• Confident communication skills when dealing with contractors and visitors
• A flexible and proactive approach to work

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday Typically 8:00am to 4:00pm

Flexibility is essential, as some days may require an earlier start, later finish, or occasional adjustments to working hours.

As this role is based within a school setting, an Enhanced DBS Check is required. If you already hold a current Enhanced DBS, this would be advantageous. If not, you will need to undertake one through us prior to starting.
