Reed Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Stanmore to recruit a qualified Secondary Cover Teacher who can confidently deliver lessons across a range of subjects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys variety in their role and is passionate about maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour across Key Stages 3 and 4. Whether your specialism is English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, or another secondary subject, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Secondary Cover Teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subject areas.
• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Support students in achieving their learning objectives.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and school leaders.
• Adapt confidently to different subjects and year groups as required.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible and professional approach to teaching.
