SCR Support Assistant
37 Hours per Week | Scale Point 17-20 Immediate till Christmas initally
Are you highly organised, detail-focused and passionate about safeguarding and compliance?
We are seeking an SCR Support Assistant to join a Trust's People Team. In this key role, you will help schools maintain accurate and compliant Single Central Records (SCRs) by monitoring records, identifying outstanding checks, and ensuring all safer recruitment and vetting information is recorded accurately and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review SCRs to identify missing, expired or inconsistent information.
- Track and follow up outstanding DBS, Right to Work, references, qualifications and training records.
- Accurately update records on iTrent and maintain compliance trackers.
- Support schools in resolving SCR issues and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Assist with Trust-wide SCR audits, reviews and reporting.
- Provide guidance and administrative support to school-based staff responsible for SCR maintenance.
About You:
- Experienced in an administrative, compliance or coordination role.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Able to manage confidential information professionally and accurately.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships across schools and teams.
Desirable: Experience within education, HR, safer recruitment, safeguarding, SCR management, DBS checking or iTrent systems.
