Rental Service Controller
About the company
Reed are supporting a leading engineering and equipment services organisation with the recruitment of a Rental Service Controller to join their Warmley, South Glos, Bristol-based team.
Your tasks
This is a busy and varied role focused on coordinating engineers, managing service requests and delivering an excellent customer experience. The position would suit candidates with experience in service coordination, maintenance planning, hire control or customer-focused administration.
- Coordinate engineer schedules and service activity.
- Manage customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Prioritise breakdowns and maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a coordination, administration or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within engineering, maintenance, fleet, hire or service environments would be advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
