Qualified Plasterers

Location: Sheffield City Council, Manor Lane Depot, Sheffield, S2 1TR Pay Rate: £17.18 per hour PAYE or £22.32 per hour Umbrella Working Hours: Full Time Temporary Contract: 6 Months

Sheffield City Council are looking for 2 Qualified Plasterers to join their Property Repairs team on a full-time basis for an initial 6-month contract . To be based from Manor Lane Depot, Sheffield , you will be responsible for carrying out a range of day-to-day plastering repairs and maintenance work across the council's housing stock and properties, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.

Day-to-day of the role

• Carry out a variety of plastering repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Complete patch plastering, skimming, rendering and general repair works.
• Undertake responsive repairs within occupied and void properties.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant regulations and standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service when working within tenants' homes and council properties.
• Accurately record completed works and any follow-up actions required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plastering
• Valid Basic DBS Certificate
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience carrying out domestic repairs and maintenance works
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Desirable - Valid CSCS Card
