Wetherby £13.14 per hour 40 hours per week Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 8-hour shifts
The Role
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Wetherby, is looking to recruit a Fabric Inspection Operative to join their Inspection Department.
This is a newly created position offering full training for the right candidate. The role involves inspecting fabric as it runs roll-to-roll through an inspection table, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a straightforward, hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, with the potential to progress into a more advanced position as they develop their skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring a fabric inspection table
- Inspecting fabric quality during the roll-to-roll process
- Identifying and reporting any defects or quality concerns
- Recording inspection findings accurately
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines
About You
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Keen to learn and develop new skills
- Previous manufacturing, production, textile or inspection experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided
