REED Engineering are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Engineer on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer who thrives on improving processes, solving production challenges and driving operational excellence. You'll play a key role in enhancing manufacturing performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations
- Analysing production processes and identifying efficiency gains
- Investigating production issues and implementing corrective actions
- Supporting new product introductions and process development
- Reducing waste, improving productivity and optimising workflows
- Working closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance teams
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards
- Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation and procedures
- Supporting engineering projects from concept through to implementation
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering role
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience of continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen or Six Sigma principles
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Engineering qualification desirable but not essential
Salary & Benefits
- £38,000 - £43,000 salary
