About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised Procurement Operations Officer to join their global Procurement Operations team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become a permanent position.
Reporting directly to the Procurement Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting procurement activities across the European region while working closely with colleagues across the global team. This is a fast-paced role that combines procurement administration, stakeholder management and process coordination within a collaborative global team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders within SAP.
- Process goods receipts and ensure procurement transactions are completed accurately.
- Monitor and manage a shared procurement inbox, ensuring all queries are responded to within established SLAs.
- Review invoices within SAP and validate that purchase orders and goods receipts are in place.
- Liaise with stakeholders across multiple international locations to resolve procurement queries.
- Proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure goods and services are receipted correctly and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and system data.
- Support the transition of procurement processes being brought in-house from other areas of the business.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and promote adherence to procurement processes.
- Escalate and resolve procurement-related issues where required.
About You

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, supply chain or procurement operations role beneficial not essential
- Experience creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Working knowledge of SAP highly desirable but not essential
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- Comfortable working with global teams across different time zones.
- Quick to learn new systems and processes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and manage workloads independently.
Desirable Skills
- Italian language skills.
- Experience working within a shared services or global procurement environment.
- Exposure to invoice validation and goods receipting processes.
