Parts Advisor

We are seeking a Parts Advisor to join our established team at our Sutterton branch. This role involves assisting with day-to-day queries regarding machinery parts from customers and technicians, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service at all times.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist with customer orders and enquiries relating to the products and services supplied by the Company, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Dispatch parts efficiently to meet customer requirements.
• Handle cash and card payments with accuracy.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at the front counter.
• Manage stock, including organizing scrappage and maintaining accurate records.
• Work under pressure during busy periods and contribute to team efforts to achieve sales targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing diplomatically with customers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner.
• Good knowledge of agricultural, horticultural, or motor industry parts is advantageous.
• Experience working in a retail environment and showroom experience is desirable.
• General computer skills and familiarity with email and internet use.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• A team player who is also capable of working independently using own initiative.
• Motivated by sales and targets.
• Smart and presentable appearance.
