Part-time Reception Teacher

Daily Rate: £130 - £150 Location: Blackburn, BB1 Job Type: Temporary, Part-time

We are seeking a Reception Teacher for a primary school to cover a temporary position starting after the October Half-term 2026 . This role is for one day per week (Fridays) and is expected to last on an ongoing basis . This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to contribute positively to a vibrant school environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Reception.
• Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching at the primary level.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
