Oracle Programme Delivery Director

Contract Type: Fixed Term (12-18 months)

Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 + Bonus + Private Medical Insurance + Additional Benefits

Location: Croydon, London. 3 days a week onsite required

A new exciting, fixed term contract opportunity has become available for an Oracle Programme Delivery Director to lead the next phase of ERP transformation with a growing Education federation. This pivotal role involves unifying programme delivery and BAU support functions under a single, expert technical authority.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Shared Services Director and will play a crucial role in delivering Shared Services strategy, strengthening operational excellence, and ensuring ERP platform becomes a robust, scalable, and value-driven asset.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead the delivery, optimisation, and enhancement of Oracle Fusion across all functional areas including Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement.
• Integrate the ERP Programme Team and the Oracle Support Team into a single, high-performing function.
• Act as the authoritative Oracle expert, reducing reliance on external partners.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, and benefits realisation across the ERP portfolio.
• Ensure the platform supports compliant, efficient, and future-focused Shared Services operations.
• Provide leadership and cover for the Oracle Support team during periods of maternity leave.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Significant leadership experience delivering Oracle Fusion ERP programmes in complex organisations.
• Expertise across Finance, HCM, Payroll, Procurement, and integration architecture.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and uplift BAU capability.
• Experience managing vendors and reducing reliance on external technical partners.
• Strong background in programme governance, risk management, and benefits realisation.
• Deep Oracle Fusion technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical complexity into business clarity.
• Strategic thinker with strong delivery discipline.
• Collaborative, resilient, and able to work across diverse teams.
