Mechanical Project Engineer – Pressure Equipment
About the company
We're supporting a growing engineering company delivering bespoke pressure equipment and engineered solutions into the energy sector.
You'll join a team where engineers contribute throughout the project lifecycle rather than working exclusively on isolated design tasks.
Your tasks
If you're currently designing pressure vessels but would like greater exposure to customer projects, manufacturing and commercial engineering decisions, this could be an excellent next step.
What makes this opportunity interesting?
- Exposure to projects from initial enquiry through to manufacture, testing and commissioning.
- Responsibility for technical calculations and engineering design decisions.
- Direct collaboration with customers, suppliers and engineering specialists.
- Opportunities to broaden your experience into heat exchanger thermal design and structural engineering, with software training provided in these areas.
- Involvement in technical improvements and engineering best practices.
Requirements
Who would suit this role? A mechanically focused engineer with practical pressure vessel design experience, knowledge of industry codes and a desire to take on wider project responsibilities.
You'll ideally have experience with fabricated equipment and understand how engineering designs translate into manufacture.
You don't need to be an established Project Manager. If you're a capable pressure vessel engineer looking for broader responsibilities, let's have a conversation about the role.
