Maintenance & Asset Coordinator

Are you an experienced Maintenance & Asset Coordinator with a background in the pharmaceutical industry? We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused individual to support the effective management of maintenance activities, asset data, and compliance across a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation where you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and continuous improvement of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring compliance, asset reliability, and engineering performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the CMMS, ensuring asset records, maintenance schedules, equipment hierarchies, and work order data remain accurate and up to date.
• Record, monitor, and close maintenance activities in line with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise preventative maintenance programmes to support site compliance and asset performance.
• Manage the maintenance service desk, ensuring maintenance requests are logged, prioritised, and progressed efficiently.
• Monitor maintenance compliance, work order completion, and backlog performance, escalating risks where necessary.
• Maintain and update asset registers, supporting asset lifecycle activities including installation, modification, replacement, and disposal.
• Produce and analyse maintenance, compliance, and asset performance reports, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support internal and external audits by ensuring maintenance records and documentation are accurate and readily available.
• Act as the CMMS subject matter expert, delivering user support, troubleshooting, training, and system enhancement assistance.
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Compliance teams to improve maintenance effectiveness and data quality.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential: Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry .

• Proven experience using CMMS platforms such as Maximo, SAP PM, EAM, Concept, or similar systems.
• Experience administering maintenance and asset management systems within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance processes.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and maintenance compliance requirements.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Compliance.
• Ability to generate, analyse, and present maintenance and asset performance data.
• Experience supporting audits through robust documentation and record management.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
