About the company
Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Teaching Assistant*Level 3 for a temporary position starting from after October half-term and is expected to last for the academic year!**
Your tasks
Day-to-day of the role
- Support a child 1:1 diagnosed with ASD.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons appropriate for Early Years.
- Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
- Work under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
- Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed.
- Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A commitment to professional growth and development.
