Dealer Training Specialist

Location: Field-based across the central belt Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Dealer Training Specialist to enhance sales performance across our dealer network in the UK. This role is crucial for ensuring that our sales teams are well-equipped and trained to meet and exceed performance expectations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for new starters and existing sales teams across the dealership network.
  • Conduct on-site induction training for newly appointed dealerships and provide ongoing support.
  • Deliver both face-to-face and virtual classroom training as part of the sales accreditation pathway.
  • Engage in the creation and delivery of training content for new product launches and ongoing sales strategies.
  • Provide intensive on-site training focused on the sales process, customer experience, and mystery shop performance.
  • Develop and deliver bespoke training sessions to meet evolving business objectives and support underperforming or new focus retailers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Retailer Training Manager and Regional Sales Managers to identify training needs and develop effective training interventions.
  • Participate in special projects and training initiatives as required to support the business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales training within the automotive industry, either OEM or retail side.
  • Strong understanding of automotive retail operations, including sales processes and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with diverse learning styles.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the UK, with approximately 3-4 days per week on the road.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider training and field team.
  • Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and content creation tools such as LMS, Articulate, and MS Office.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
