Junior Warehouse Technician

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Warehouse Technician . This role would suit someone looking to develop a career in a technical warehouse environment, as well as candidates with existing warehouse or technical experience.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will assist with the preparation, maintenance and organisation of equipment, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the department.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week , scheduled across five days out of seven .

Standard working hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm , with a one-hour unpaid break.

A reasonable amount of paid overtime may be required during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing cable and mains equipment
• Testing, cleaning, recoiling and storing goods
• Checking returned equipment and reporting any damage
• Ensuring all equipment is correctly stored and labelled
• Carrying out Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) following training provided
• Supporting warehouse team with quality control
• Monitoring emails and job management systems
• Report stock shortages, damages and operational issues to management
• Assisting with stock control
• Complying with all Health & Safety legislation and procedures

You will ideally have:

• A keen interest in hands-on work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and overtime when required
