Junior Project Manager

Location: Bow CCC, London | Hybrid working Contract: Initial 6 months | Full-time Rate: £400 to £500 per day via Umbrella | Inside IR35 Security Clearance: Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) required The Opportunity We are looking for an organised and proactive Junior Project Manager to join a busy Digital & Technology environment, supporting the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of technology projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of supporting ICT or technology projects who enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders, coordinating multiple activities and helping projects progress from planning through to successful delivery. You will work closely with Senior Project Managers, Programme Leads, technical specialists and wider stakeholders across projects spanning applications, networks, cyber security, hosting and technology infrastructure . What You’ll Be Doing As a Junior Project Manager, you will play an important role in keeping projects organised, on track and moving forward. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting Senior Project Managers with the delivery of multiple technology projects and deployment activities. Acting as a key point of contact for project and programme leads, helping to coordinate activities and meet governance deadlines. Coordinating and triaging project requests and providing data analysis where required. Supporting project governance activities, including stage gate reviews, financial reviews and project reporting. Working collaboratively with technical engineers, project teams and stakeholders to drive activities through to completion. Monitoring progress, identifying risks and issues, and providing regular updates to senior project stakeholders. Supporting financial control activities, including the review and progression of timesheets and invoices. Reviewing and updating project support documentation and knowledge articles. Supporting project documentation and submissions across applications, hosting, cyber security and network portfolios. Providing hands-on project support, including attending sites where required to support successful delivery. Experience delivering end-user technology or services within a blue-light, policing or similarly complex operational environment would be beneficial, but is not essential. Security Requirements Due to the nature of the environment, the successful applicant will be required to hold the appropriate Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) security clearance . Applicants who do not currently hold this clearance will need to successfully complete the required vetting process. Interested?
