IT Project Manager

An exciting opportunity to become part of a small dynamic team in IT which provides project management and business analysis expertise for designated projects and initiatives

The successful candidate will be pro-active in collaborating with colleagues in IT, the wider business as well as external parties, bringing your project management expertise to a wide range of change and improvement activities to ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality. You will have strong organisation, analysis and planning skills to manage large and complex IT related projects, underpinned by excellent project co-ordination, reporting, budget, change control and risk management skills.

Aligned to this will be the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders across the business, as well as externally.

The ideal candidate will also need :

• Experience as a Project Manager in delivering IT change.
• An understanding and demonstrable application of practices, procedures and methods required for effective project management supported by professional qualification(s) and/or experience such as Prince2, Agile
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills with an ability to control and facilitate discussions with colleagues at all levels, both internally and externally
• Familiarity with budget and procurement approaches as they relate to project delivery
• Experience of business improvement and change management principles, including benefits management and realisation
• Excellent organisational, analytical, presentation and written skills, including an ability to articulate technical issues for non-specialist audiences
• A positive ‘can-do’ approach to your work, supporting and encouraging this in others.
