We are recruiting an Insurance Administrator to join the central insurance function of a large international organisation .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with insurance industry experience who wants to develop their career within a sophisticated in-house environment.

The role offers broad exposure to corporate insurance, including renewals, claims, insurance data, premiums, reporting and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and coordination of multinational insurance programmes and annual renewal activity.
  • Coordinate the collection, validation and maintenance of insurance, claims and exposure information from stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Assist with the preparation of insurance documentation, reports, budgets and underwriting information.
  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day insurance queries, liaising with internal stakeholders, brokers and insurers.
  • Maintain accurate insurance records and assist with claims reporting, governance, compliance and audit requirements.
  • Help improve insurance data, reporting and administrative processes.
  • Provide broader administrative and analytical support to the insurance function as required.

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience within the commercial insurance sector . This could have been gained within:

  • an insurance broker;
  • an insurer;
  • an in-house corporate insurance or risk function; or
  • another environment involving commercial insurance administration.

You should have:

  • A good understanding of commercial insurance principles and processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple activities and deadlines.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Confidence working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of administrative processes.

Desirable

  • Previous exposure to multinational or global insurance programmes.
  • Experience supporting insurance renewals, claims, premiums or policy administration.
  • Experience using insurance, risk management, governance or reporting systems.
  • Progress towards a relevant professional insurance qualification would be advantageous.
