Experienced Installation Supervisor

£19.00 - £22.00 per hour + Overtime + Expenses + Pension + Healthcare

Are you an experienced Installation Supervisor with a strong background in mechanical installations, site supervision, and project delivery? We are looking for a hands-on supervisor to lead installation teams across wastewater and industrial projects throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

The Role

Working as part of a specialist installation team, you will be responsible for supervising site personnel, coordinating installation activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining the highest levels of health and safety compliance throughout project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising site personnel to achieve installation programme milestones.
• Reading and interpreting installation drawings accurately.
• Setting out, positioning and levelling equipment and pipework systems.
• Coordinating deliveries, offloading and installation activities with project teams and clients.
• Attending site and client meetings as required.
• Ensuring installation quality meets specified tolerances and standards.
• Completing inspection records, test certificates and mechanical inspection documentation.
• Conducting toolbox talks and promoting a strong safety culture.
• Ensuring compliance with RAMS, lift plans, safe systems of work and site procedures.
• Producing progress reports and managing installation teams on site.

About You

To be considered, you should have:

• A minimum of 4 years' mechanical pipe fitting experience.
• SSSTS certification.
• A valid CSCS card.
• Significant experience supervising mechanical installation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and installation drawings.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working within industrial, wastewater or process environments.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when required across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Package & Benefits

• £19.00 - £22.00 per hour , dependent on experience.
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 37.5 hours worked.
• Typical working week of approximately 50 hours .
• Working away allowance: £25 per night (£35 per night in London, with the additional £10 taxable).
