The Role
As an IFA Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, ensuring clients receive a seamless and efficient service throughout their financial planning journey.
You will play a key role in supporting the advice process from initial enquiry through to policy implementation and ongoing servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners.
- Preparing client review packs and meeting documentation.
- Processing new business applications across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning.
- Obtaining policy information and valuations from providers.
- Managing client records and ensuring all information is accurately maintained on the CRM system.
- Liaising with clients, providers, and professional introducers.
- Chasing outstanding requirements and monitoring business pipeline progress.
- Preparing suitability report packs and supporting documentation.
- Scheduling client meetings and managing adviser diaries.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA compliance requirements.
- Assisting with ongoing servicing and annual review processes.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within an IFA, Wealth Management, or Financial Planning environment.
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and protection products.
- Experience processing new business and servicing existing clients.
- Familiarity with industry platforms and provider systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Intelligent Office would be advantageous.
