Class 2 (Category C) 8 Wheel Tipper Driver
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dependable Class 2 (Category C) 8 Wheel Tipper Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of aggregates, construction materials, and other loads, ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with company procedures and road transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an 8 Wheel Tipper vehicle safely and professionally.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure loads are transported and tipped safely.
- Comply with Driver Hours Regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate vehicle and delivery records.
- Provide excellent customer service on delivery sites.
- Assist with general labouring duties when required.
- Keep vehicles clean and roadworthy.
Requirements
Essential
- Valid Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence .
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card .
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card .
- Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience.
- Good knowledge of driving legislation and safety procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends when required.
Desirable
- Previous tipper driving experience.
- Experience within the construction, aggregates, or recycling sectors.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts starting at 7:00am
- Overtime available
- Weekend work available during busy periods
