Hourly Rate: £30 - £35 Location: North London Job Type: Part-time, Temporary UNTIL December 2026 Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a Level 1 Hairdressing Lecturer to join a Further Education College in North London. This role involves teaching and assessing practical hairdressing skills to students aged 16-19. The position is available for immediate start, with work scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Level 1 Hairdressing.
• Assess students' practical skills and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials tailored to the needs of young learners.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with college standards and industry practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified to teach at FE level with a relevant teaching qualification.
• Professional experience in hairdressing, with up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating young learners.
• Ability to manage classroom activities and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with a passion for teaching.
