Hairdressing and Beauty Lecturer

Hourly Rate: £33 Location: North London Job Type: Part-time (Every Thursday)

We are seeking a Level 1 Hairdressing Lecturer who can also deliver Level 2 Beauty courses, if possible. This role is based in North London and offers an immediate start. You will be working under the guidance of a highly regarded manager, contributing significantly to our educational offerings.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Level 1 Hairdressing and potentially Level 2 Beauty.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support students in their learning and development.
• Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance course content and teaching methods.
• Ensure compliance with college standards and industry regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified to teach Level 1 Hairdressing; qualification in Level 2 Beauty is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a lecturer or teacher in hairdressing and/or beauty.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
• Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry practices.
