Hourly Rate: £13.72 Location: Leicester Job Type: Temporary Contract, Full-Time Working Hours: 07:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday

We are seeking hard-working individuals to join our Trees & Woodlands team, working outdoors in various locations around the city. The primary role involves the removal of basal and trunk growth from the city's highway trees. This position requires working next to highways, so a strong understanding of health and safety protocols is essential.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Removing basal and trunk growth from trees along city highways using hand pruners, saws, and potentially hedging shears.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations due to the proximity to highways.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions as part of a dynamic team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to use hand pruners, saws, and hedging shears safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of health and safety implications, especially related to working near highways.
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Driving capability is preferred to easily navigate between different city locations.
