General Operative (Temporary Contract)

Location: Erdington, Birmingham Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Contract: Temporary (2-3 Weeks) Start Date: Monday 12th October Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00am - 16:45pm and Friday: 08:00am - 16:15pm (37 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a well-established organisation based in Erdington, Birmingham on a short-term temporary assignment.

This is a hands-on role that will involve assisting with a facilities project, including the manual movement of boxes and materials as part of a mezzanine floor clearance. Candidates must be comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually carrying and moving boxes and materials
• Assisting with clearing and organising a mezzanine floor area
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the Head of Facilities with the completion of the project
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

Candidate Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to undertake manual duties
• Previous warehouse, labouring, production, removals or general operative experience would be advantageous
