Day-to-day of the role:
- Manufacture bespoke furniture and joinery items to a high standard.
- Produce free-standing furniture, fitted joinery, kitchens, dressing rooms, and custom interior elements.
- Interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications accurately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical challenges.
- Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and tools safely.
- Support installation projects on site when required.
- Work with a variety of materials including solid timber, veneers, and hardware, integrating elements such as appliances or lighting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Skilled in working with solid timber and veneers.
- Strong technical understanding and confidence in reading detailed drawings.
- Experience incorporating additional materials such as metal, leather, or glass is beneficial.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or within a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- At least 5 years' experience in joinery making from drawings on the bench with full knowledge of all woodworking machinery.
- Willingness to undertake a day's trial to demonstrate skills.
