A well-respected secondary school in Reading is seeking a passionate and creative Design & Technology Teacher specialising in Food to join their team on a part-time (0.5) basis as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Food Technology within a supportive and forward-thinking school that values practical learning, student engagement, and high academic standards.

The Role

• Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire students to develop practical cooking skills and nutritional knowledge
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the curriculum
• Contribute to the wider success of the Design & Technology department
• Work collaboratively with a friendly and supportive staff team

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Food Technology within UK secondary schools
• Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to student achievement
• Can create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Has strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge
