Financial Systems Accountant

Your tasks

The Finance Systems Accountant is responsible for the day-to day ownership, support, optimisation and governance of Workday Financials, including Prism Analytics and Accounting Center. The role is the primary functional expert for finance systems, ensuring platform stability, data integrity, effective controls and continuous improvement. Working across Finance, Technology and Data, the role will translate business requirements into effective system solutions while ensuring alignment with organisational technology strategy and the Finance Transformation roadmap.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and experience of Workday Financials configuration, reporting and optimisation
• Good finance process knowledge across P2P, R2R and O2C
• Experience managing incidents, enhancement and system changes within a controlled environment
• Ability to translate finance requirements into proportionate system solutions
• Experience prioritising competing operational and project demands
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience producing and maintaining system documentation, controls and user guidance
• Part or fully qualified accountancy qualification
• Project management or business analyst qualification
