Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant

Are you an organised and proactive administrator with finance experience? We are looking for a Finance Admin Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team based at Royal Wootton Bassett . The Role As a Finance Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department with a variety of administrative and accounting duties. You will work closely with colleagues across the business, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and helping to keep processes running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems. Processing and inputting data into accounting systems and spreadsheets. Supporting invoice, expenses and credit card expenditure processing. Assisting with month-end finance activities. Managing client purchase order logging and maintenance. Handling vehicle-related administration, including charges, fines and notices. Supporting fleet administration, including fuel recording. Liaising with internal and external contacts to resolve queries. Providing general administrative support to the finance team. To be successful in this role, you will have: At least 3 years' experience within finance, administration or bookkeeping. Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Strong record-keeping and data management skills. Good Excel and general IT skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A positive, professional and team-focused attitude. Strong organisational and time management abilities. The ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-changing environment.
