Facilities Technician

We are seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Technician to support the day-to-day delivery of soft services across a busy production and office site in UB6, Greenford.

Temporary to Permanent ASAP Start Monday - Thursday. 7am- 4.30pm with over time offered on Fridays. £16.41 per hour.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be responsible for managing facilities requests through a digital helpdesk system, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring the site remains safe, clean, and operating efficiently. You'll work closely with internal teams and contractors, helping to maintain a high-quality working environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to facilities and maintenance requests via a digital CAFM/helpdesk system.
• Prioritise and work through daily maintenance enquiries and service tickets.
• Coordinate reactive and planned maintenance works across the site.
• Monitor cleaning, waste management, housekeeping, and general soft services standards.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers, ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report any issues requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate records, job updates, and compliance documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across facilities operations.
• Assist with health & safety compliance and ensure company standards are maintained.

About You

• Previous experience within Facilities, Soft Services, Building Services, Maintenance, Caretaking, or Property Management.
• Comfortable using digital systems, tablets, and facilities management software.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Able to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Customer-focused with a proactive and positive attitude.
