Fabrication Manager
Your tasks
We are seeking a driven and hands-on Fabrication Manager to lead and develop a busy fabrication and manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader who can motivate teams, drive operational performance, and deliver continuous improvement across production activities.
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading, motivating, and developing production teams
- Managing production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Driving improvements in productivity, efficiency, and operational performance
- Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures
- Promoting a strong health and safety culture across the operation
- Managing labour, materials, and resources effectively
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with other departments to meet customer requirements and business objectives
Requirements
Are you an experienced Fabrication Manager looking for your next challenge within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Fabrication Manager, Workshop Manager, Operations Manager or similar
- Experience within a fabrication, welding, sheet metal, steelwork, engineering, or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Good understanding of production planning and performance management
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer service
